Hello and welcome ;)

I’m a branding photographer with a keen eye for capturing the beauty in people, places, and products. I discovered that my photography niche was helping small business owners showcase their wares and services. Just everyday people - dreamers - deciding to make their own way in the world by following their passions to create incredible art, amazing services, delicious food, and delightful products.

I am not new to running my own business - in fact, I had a number of businesses in South Africa before I emigrated to Australia at the end of 2007. Small business runs in my family. Every member of my immediate family is self-employed - from construction to movies to real estate - so it's no wonder that I quit my day job mid-2018 to pursue my photography business full time.

My two kiddos are at uni, but are still living at home - which I love (how it is possible that I have two kids at uni?! Weren’t they babies five minutes ago?) Through having my own business, I am showing them that it is perfectly okay to follow their own paths. Bonus - I have built-in assistants should I need someone to carry my (heavy!) camera equipment on a shoot. Super handy!

Please note: if you are wanting 10 years and 10 kgs removed from your body in post processing, I am not the photographer for you. My goal in creating your visual branding imagery is to capture who you are right now, and help your customers recognise and connect with you the instant they meet you in person, or see you online.
